In an age where anyone can record countless moments with a smartphone, most of these memories end up buried in the cloud or camera roll, never to be revisited. kyu exists to challenge that.


Rather than aiming to be a tool that “does it all,” we strive to realize an ideal in a specific domain.
We believe in rethinking the modern trend of ever-increasing features—where means often overtake ends—and see value in reversing that dynamic.


The development of kyu brings together specialists from diverse backgrounds:
former Panasonic LUMIX lead developers, Canon product designers, iOS engineers from note, and designers of family photo album apps.
